New cat purse!

Hey y'all, it was march break for me~
I ended up finishing 3 projects this week, I'll try to get some pictures in later.

But for now, here's the best one I've done so far!!

Front and back

The mouth is actually a small pocket, large enough to fit my iPod and loose change.

Inside lining with a patch pocket (perfect size for my DS!!) and zipper pocket. Also, it has a key fob for mah key n stuff yo.

It's so light and is it ever warm! I had it on my lap during a cold car ride and it's almost as if it has a heating pack inside. Damn I love fleece.

Dead Cat purse belongs to me (Esme Toussaint 2013), including design.

Which animal should I do next? I was thinking about a pig. . .

help with design...

So I want to make pony-themed purses... But the design is hard!!

here's what I got so far:

VERY rough sketch mind you.

So yeah.. the unicorn looks dumb... any thoughts?

I want the cutie-mark on the front... and something about the species somewhere else? like pegasus wings onthe back.. but unicorn horns don't go anywhere! and the poor little earth ponies don't have anything!

(Looooong overdue) Shiny Mareep purse completed!!

It's done!!

Here's my new shiny mareep purse!

This super soft purse that is not only adorable but also fully functional! Complete with hand-embroidered and machine applique features. Ears are hand sewn onto the "body" with 100% cotton hand-sewing thread; they're very solid and won't break off. (Unless you actually try really hard to rip them off!)

dimensions:
24cm (13.5in) in diameter not including ears
2.2L (74oz) internal volume (don't fill it with water though!)

features:
- fully adjustable strap made of 100% cotton webbing
- very stiff and robust, LOTS of stabilizer used
- no cardboard inside, which means it's okay to fold it and wrinkle it without worrying about it losing its shape!
- outside is made of very cuddly pink Berber fur
- inside has a keychain ring attachment sewn right into the lining so you'll always know where your keys are.
- big "secret" zipper pocket inside
- lining made of 100% quilting cotton (which means the weave is much tighter and therefore stronger, also the colour stays longer in the fabric and won't wash out!)
- made with a butt-ton of love
- has a pink patch pocket made of 100% quilting cotton

ER MER GERD BERBER FUR

IT'S SO SOFT.
SO, I got my nubby little hands on this delightful new fabric and decided it would be PERFECT for a purse because I am clearly sane of mind.

oh well. It's soft as a kitten butt.
